Robert L. Warner, Jr. 75, of Scottsburg, IN passed away on March 28, 2022 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Robert was born on August 23, 1946 the son of Robert and Kathryn (Pikkarainen) Warner. He grew up in the Milwaukee area and after his schooling, he served his country in the United States Air Force. Robert worked in the manufacturing industry for the majority of his working career retiring as a consultant. He had a few interests during his life, including photography, hiking, and listening to music. The two most important things in Robert’s life were his family and his faith. He loved the Lord and tried his best to do what’s right. Robert will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by: his children, Julie (Bruce) Frederick of Shorewood, WI, Dan Warner of West Milwaukee, WI, Gerry Warner of Big Bend, WI, and Chris (Crystal) Conway of Nabb, IN; his grandchildren, Alex (Cassie Forbes), Erin (Mike Scheel), Rosie, Josh, Danny, Jr., Brittany, Brandon, Ryker, and Damien; and his brother, Michael (Jean) Warner of Eagle, WI. He is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Donald.
A Memorial Service to honor Robert’s life will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, February 24, 2023 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Eagle, WI (499 Elkhorn Road, Eagle, WI 53119). Visitation will take place from 10:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Robert will be laid to rest in Oak Ridge Cemetery of Eagle, WI immediately following the service.
