Bob worked as a Steamfitter for the majority of his working years and retired after a 33 year career. He took his work very seriously and almost never took a sick day. Bob took pride in providing for his family and making sure they had what they needed. Bob enjoyed the outdoors and made many memories hunting, fishing and trapping with his son and other family members. He also enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino to play the slot machines and won a few good sized jackpots over the years. Service to others was very important to Bob and he faithfully served in the local Thomas Holcomb Palmyra, Wisconsin Legion Post 304 for many years. He honored many United States veterans as a member of the military funeral honors team and also served at the legion hall for breakfasts and other events.
