Sandra DeMaster Obituary

Sandra Jean DeMaster, 82, of Wausau, WI passed away Friday, December 10, 2021 at the Hospice House of Wausau, WI.

Sandra was born on March 2, 1939 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Harvey and Lorraine (Koelsch) Graf. Sandra was blessed with two loving daughters, Candace and Noelle. On June 4, 1988 Sandra was united in marriage to Larry DeMaster at the Wedding Chapel in Pewaukee, WI, and the two enjoyed 14 years of marriage together until Larry’s passing.  She worked as a Piano Teacher for the majority of her working career and enjoyed that occupation very much. She also supported her daughter Noelle’s business as a receptionist and bookkeeper in her retirement years, and her presence there touched many lives. First and foremost in Sandra’s life was her family. She was a proud mom, grandma, and great-grandma. Her best times were family gatherings and holidays spending time with those she was closest to. Sandra was quiet and reserved, but had a very positive and friendly spirit. Even during her struggles with arthritis and other health issues, she remained upbeat and kind through it all. Most Sundays were spent cheering for her favorite team, the Packers. She was an avid reader and loved a good mystery novel. She was also a woman of strong faith and was involved in her local churches for much of her life. Sandra was a woman who inspired many, and she will be greatly missed by those she leaves behind.

She is survived by: her two daughters, Candace (Dan) White of Eagle, WI, and Noelle (Patrick) Panske of Wausau, WI; her five grandchildren, Amanda, Brian, Erika, Jake (Melissa), and Jonathan (Erin); her great-grandchildren, Gabriella, Aaron, Lacy, Henry, and Marigold; two siblings, Kim (Mary) Graf of Wind Lake, WI, and Melodie (John) Haddon of Eagle, WI. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Larry DeMaster, and her siblings, Darrell, Keith, Wayne, Gary, Dennis, and Denise.

Sandra will be laid to rest next to her husband, Larry during a Committal Service at 11:00AM on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Milwaukee, WI.
