Sandra Nuspl Obituary

Sandra V. Nuspl, 79, of Palmyra, WI passed away peacefully on Monday January 1, 2024 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her bedside.

Sandee was born on September 30, 1944 in West Allis the daughter of Norbert and Florence (Lipinski) Jurkowski. She grew up in West Allis and graduated from Nathan Hale High School. She met the love of her life Joseph Nuspl at Wisconsin State College (U.W. Whitewater) at a dance.  After dancing with her once, he invited her to the TKE formal.   On April 24, 1965 they were united in marriage at St. Rita’s Catholic Church in West Allis. The couple would spend the first few years of their marriage in the South Milwaukee and Cudahy area until building their house on Blue Spring Lake in 1970. God blessed Joe and Sandee with three children, Denys, Debra, and Joseph, Jr.. Sandee worked as a teacher and bookkeeper for the majority of her working career. Sandee was outgoing and friendly.  She will be remembered by many for her wonderful hugs, her warm smile and occasional sass.  She had quite a few interests during her life including ceramics, crafting and quilting.  She and Joe made many good memories traveling in both the US and abroad. She especially enjoyed her cruises to the Caribbean and Germany and fondly remembered the road trips she took with her family. Sandee was also content to be home with a good book or quilting. She also enjoyed playing computer games and keeping in touch with friends and family on Facebook. Sandee loved living on the lake and enjoyed having the family (including their friends) around. Above all else, Sandee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and she will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.

She is survived by: her loving husband of 58 years, Joseph Nuspl of Palmyra; her three children, Denys (Scott) Wambold of Mukwonago, Deb (George) Callow of Elmwood, and Joey (Kim Cardoza) Nuspl, Jr. of Beaverton, OR; her grandchildren, Nicole (Dave) Hitchcock of Robinsdale, MN, Macklin (Ileia) Domres of Palmyra, Staci (Cody) Maves of Elmwood, Jared (Autumn) Domres of Palmyra, Stephanie (Isaac) Hartung of Elmwood, Jonah Nuspl of Eugene, OR, and Atlas Graves of Beaverton, OR; and her great-grandchildren, Hadley, Maci, Graylin, Cixton, Jordy, Clara, and Raymond.
