Steve Clementi Obituary

Steve Louis Clementi, 81, of Palmyra, WI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.

Steve was born on January 20, 1944, in Milwaukee, the son of Steve and Dorothy (Kozlowski) Clementi. He grew up in the Milwaukee area and graduated from West Division High School. During those years, he met a young woman named Judith Lissack and the two were united in marriage on June 5, 1965, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Together, they were blessed with two loving sons, Steve and Todd.

After high school, Steve proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He later went on to work as a laborer for Schlitz Brewing Company, and then for Roundy’s Distribution, where he remained for the majority of his career before retiring in 2006. He took great pride in working hard and providing for his family. Steve will be remembered for his zest for life and his outgoing, social nature. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards with his card club and family, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings. More than anything, Steve cherished time with his family. He loved traveling the country to watch his grandchildren’s sporting events and was always happy to “double his money” at the casino. His greatest joy was being a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Steve is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judith Clementi of Palmyra; his two sons, Steve (Kate) Clementi of Pewaukee and Todd (Bridget) Clementi of Waukesha; his six grandchildren, Sam (Jessica) Anderson of Pewaukee, Dominic (Carly) Clementi of Waukesha, Mia (Cole) Zacho of Chippewa Falls, Hamzah Al Ameer of Maryland, Logan (Kasey) Clementi of Colorado Springs, and Paige Clementi of Waukesha; and his five great-grandchildren, Landon, Nolan, Mason, Jake, and Myles. He is further survived by his siblings, Gloria (Carl) Fleischmann of Florida, Daniel (Sandi Borden) Clementi of West Allis, and Roseann (Richard) Waters of Waukesha. Steve was a special uncle to the Suputo and Accomando families and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his Uncle Clem; his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Nancy Johnson; and his sister-in-law, Jeanne.
