Suzanne M. Rudesill, 79, of Eagle, Wisconsin passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at her home.
Suzanne was born on March 14, 1946 in Milwaukee the daughter of Robert and Ida (Miller) Lahr. She grew up in the Milwaukee area and graduated from Pius XI High School in Milwaukee. On July 31, 1965, Suzanne was united in marriage to James Rudesill at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Milwaukee. God blessed Suzanne and James with four children, Steven, Cristie, Nicole and Gregg. Suzanne was a loving mother and took great care of her family. She will be remembered for her outgoing and kind personality. Suzanne was a talented artist and created many beautiful paintings that were enjoyed by many different people. She appreciated all kinds of beauty and loved nature, vegetable and flower gardening, and bird watching. Suzanne’s best times were spent surrounded by her loving family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will be deeply missed, but forever remembered by those she leaves behind.
Suzanne is survived by: her loving husband of 60 years, James Rudesill of Eagle; her children Steven (Jody) Rudesill of Wauwatosa, Cristie Dach of Paddock Lake, Nicole (Mark) Lauersdorf of Neosho, and Gregg (Maria) Rudesill of Kansas City; her grandchildren, Bryce, Taylor (Jeremiah), Cristia, Adam (Samantha), Jonathon, Faith, Hope, Grace, Dominic (Gabriella), Annabella, and Marcus; her great-grandchildren, Lauren, James, Ellie, William, Paislee, Dakotah, and Dean Ernest; and her siblings, Kathy (Karl) Bestul of Portage, Marilynn (the late Bernie) Andersen of Waukesha, and Mary (the late Jim) Schumacher of Georgia. She is further survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Suzanne is preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Paul, Patrick, Robert, Michael, and a sister, Rosemarie.
A Funeral Service will be held at 5:00PM on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Eagle, WI (499 Elkhorn Road, Eagle, WI 53119). Deacon Greg Price will officiate the service. Visitation will take place from 4:00PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
