Obituary for Sylvia Lynn Ritterbusch

Sylvia, age 75 of Madison, WI passed away quietly at home on October 29th. She was the daughter of Arthur and Arlynn Ritterbusch of Waukesha, WI. Sylvia attended the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point and received a Bachelor of Science Degree. She was licensed as a Medical Technologist. She worked at the University of Wisconsin Hospital, Madison her entire career as a Medical Technologist. Her last decades there were in the Blood Banking Labs.

Among her loves, Sylvia enjoyed the outdoors, nature, and boating. She greatly enjoyed walking the beaches and appreciating the beauty of the ocean on her trips to Florida. She also appreciated classical music, and loved to attend musicals and events at the Overture Center. Sylvia was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church of Madison, WI and sang in their choir. She belonged to a book club and was active in the Skilaufers Ski Club. Above all, she enjoyed travel. Sylvia was an intelligent, soft spoken and exceptionally kind-hearted lady. She had a favorite group of friends she enjoyed on a regular basis and will be greatly missed by them.

Sylvia is survived by four brothers and their spouses: Norman and Joyce Ritterbusch of London, OH; David and Karen Ritterbusch of Pine, AZ; Stanley and Virginia Ritterbusch of Orlando, FL; and Dean Ritterbusch of Peoria, AZ; Two Nieces; Four Nephews; Three Grand Nephews; and Five Grand Nieces whom she loved very dearly.

Sylvia will be laid to rest during a Graveside Service at 11:00AM on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Hillside Cemetery in Palmyra, WI.
