Ted A. Keys, 92, of Eagle, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.
Ted was born on December 28, 1933 the son of Donald and Zelda (Buchanan) Keys. He graduated from the Arkansaw Union High School in Arkansaw, Wisconsin with the class of 1951. Ted entered the United States Navy on February 1, 1952 and was honorably discharged on February 10, 1956. He then attended the School of Telegraphy in Salt Lake City, Utah. Ted worked as a Depot Agent for MSTP & P Railroad until the depot closed and thereafter worked for Navistar. Ted enjoyed a 34-year career with Navistar, retiring as Manufacturing Engineer Superintendent at the age of 58. Ted married Judith Partin in 1959 and the couple was blessed with two sons, Crag and Cory. Ted and Judy would later divorce after 20 years of marriage. Ted would eventually move to Florida during his retirement years before returning to Wisconsin.
He is survived by: his two sons, Craig (Karen) Keys of Eagle, and Cory (Kim) Keys of Goodlettsville, TN; his grandchildren, Karlee (Bob) Williamson, William (Melanie) Keys, Kaylee Keys, and Kyle (Kaylen) Keys; and his great-grandchildren, Michael, Joe, Lily, Connor and Kenna.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
