Todd D. Gartzke

Todd D. Gartzke, 66, of Burlington, WI passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI.

Todd was born in Milwaukee the son of Graham and Geraldine (Lory) Gartzke. Todd was blessed with five children, Erik, Andrew, Natalie, Todd Jacob, and Maxwell. Todd’s family was his life and he cared deeply for those closest to him. Todd owned and operated multiple automotive dealerships for the majority of his working career and greatly enjoyed over 40 years in the industry. Todd had a blunt and sarcastic, but hilarious personality. He was quick to see the bright side in situations and never took things too seriously. Todd had a few different interests during his life, always ready to have a good time. He loved animals and had many beloved pet dogs over the years. Todd loved the lake life, riding his motorcycle, catching a sunset, and enjoying some good cocktails. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those he leaves behind. 

Todd is survived by: his wife, Colleen Gartzke of Burlington; his children, Erik (Jody) Gartzke of Colorado; Andrew (Becca) Gartzke of Waukesha, Natalie Nelson of Lake Geneva, Todd Jacob Gartzke of Burlington, and Maxwell Gartzke of Burlington; his grandchildren, Weston, Wyatt, Alison, Esme, Otto, Logan, Marley, and Baker; and his siblings, Dean (Jill) Castronovo of Brookfield, Tracie Castronovo of Oconomowoc, Reid Castronovo of Milwaukee, and Timmy Gartzke of California; and his aunt, Joy Zebke. Todd is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Todd is preceded in death by his parents, Graham and Geraldine, his loving step-dad, Ted Castronovo, and son-in-law, Timothy Nelson.

A Memorial Service for Todd will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at the Gibson Family Funeral Home in Eagle, WI (499 Elkhorn Road, Eagle, WI 53119). Visitation will take place from 11:00AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
