Wesley Ray Hannula, the beloved son of Zachary J. and Abigail L. (Knutson) Hannula fell asleep in his parents’ arms and woke up in the arms of his Savior, Jesus, on April 11, 2026 at Children’s Hospital in Milwaukee.
Wesley was born on April 6, 2026 in Waukesha and while his time on Earth was short, his loving family will cherish the time they were able to spend with this precious boy. He will be deeply missed by: his loving parents, his grandparents, Paul and Dawn Hannula of Watertown and Dave and Jamie Knutson of Jefferson; his great-grandparents, Helen Knutson of Tomah, Jackie Toncray of Royal Oak, MI, Carol Hannula of Oconomowoc, and Bob and Sherry Beaver of Lebanon; his uncles Jake (Paige) Hannula of Delafield, and Michael (Amelia) Knutson of Jefferson; and his cousins, Nash Hannula and Eli Hannula. Wesley’s family takes great comfort in the fact that he is safe at home in Heaven.
Wesley is preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfather and namesake Raymond Hannula and his maternal great-grandmother Carrie Proffit and great-grandfathers, Harold Knutson, Benjamin Toncray, and Edward Old.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin for their care and compassion.
A Memorial Service to honor Wesley’s life will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at White Stone Church of Oconomowoc. Pastor Luke Dye will officiate the service. A visitation will take place from 9:00AM until the time of service at the church. A coffee hour will follow the service.
